EXPO-GLOSS®
"WET-LOOK" EXPOSED AGGREGATE SEALER
Provides maximum protection and enhances
the beauty of natural stone in exposed aggregate surfaces.
SEALTIGHT EXPO-GLOSS Exposed Aggregate Sealer is a transparent liquid curing,
sealing and dustproofing compound designed for maximum protection and
enhancement of natural stone in exposed aggregate surfaces.
Technical Description
SEALTIGHT EXPO-GLOSS Exposed Aggregate Sealer is a transparent,
high-solids, film-forming, curing, sealing and dustproofing compound that
improves resistance to staining and wear.
EXPO-GLOSS is specifically formulated to enhance the beauty of natural stone in
exposed aggregate surfaces while providing maximum surface protection. When
properly applied, EXPO-GLOSS produces a glossy "wet-look" finish.
EXPO-GLOSS meets maximum VOC content limit of 700 g/L for
Concrete Curing and Sealing Compounds as required by the U.S. EPA Architectural
Coatings Rule.
Uses
EXPO-GLOSS is ideal for freshly finished exposed aggregate
surfaces. It is also equally applicable for use on old exposed aggregate
surfaces.

Application
SURFACE PREPARATION: SEALTIGHT EXPO-GLOSS
Exposed Aggregate Sealer may be applied over freshly finished exposed aggregate
as soon as the surface moisture has disappeared. On old exposed aggregate, clean
the surface thoroughly and rinse well. EXPO-GLOSS may be applied to damp
surfaces.
MIXING: SEALTIGHT EXPO-GLOSS does not normally require
mixing. However, after prolonged storage, product should be mixed thoroughly
before using.
METHOD OF APPLICATION: Apply using a good quality natural bristle brush, or a
short-nap roller. Spread in a thin, even coat being careful to avoid puddling.
SEALTIGHT EXPO-GLOSS should not be applied during high
temperature conditions in direct sunlight. These conditions cause rapid
evaporation, which does not allow the film to form properly. Under these
conditions, the film may peel, bubble and/or turn white (blush).
SEALTIGHT EXPO-GLOSS should not be applied to exposed
aggregate subject to excessive moisture. Entrapped moisture in a solvent based
sealer may cause the film to peel and/or turn white (blush).
NOTE: For added protection and a greater sheen, we recommend two (2)
coats of EXPO-GLOSS be applied at ninety degrees to each other. Additional coats
of EXPO-GLOSS may be applied after the previous coat has thorougly dried. Drying
time may vary depending on temperature, humidity and project conditions. Protect
the freshly coated surface from traffic, dust, condensation and rain while
drying. The surface will be slippery while drying and may become slippery under
certain conditions.
CLEAN-UP: Clean tools with aromatic solvent immediately
after finishing application.

Precautions
DO NOT DILUTE. HEALTH HAZARDS: Avoid direct contact with this
product as it may cause irritation of the eyes and/or skin. Inhalation of vapors
may result in transient central nervous system depression. EXPO-GLOSS is
combustible (flash point 114ºF). IT IS FOR EXTERIOR APPLICATION ONLY.
EXPO-GLOSS should not be utilized in locations where food items are present.
Do not use on surfaces other than exposed aggregate. Do not apply to painted or
frozen surfaces. Apply a test patch in an inconspicuous area before applying to
the intended surface. Do not apply EXPO-GLOSS over stained wood joint dividers.
This may cause the stain to spread while the sealer is wet. Coated surfaces may
darken upon application and aging. Avoid brush or roller contact with wood
partitions. The surface may become slippery under certain conditions. Refer to
Material Safety Data Sheet for complete Health and Safety Information.
