LIN-SEAL EMULSION®

CURING AND SEALING COMPOUND

Technical Description
SEALTIGHT LIN-SEAL EMULSION Curing and Sealing Compound is a true water-base, high-solids solution of boiled linseed oil. When properly applied, it provides an impermeable seal which optimizes water retention.

LIN-SEAL EMULSION meets maximum VOC content limits of 700 g/L for Concrete Curing and Sealing Compounds as required by the U.S. EPA Architectural Coatings Rule.

Uses
SEALTIGHT LIN-SEAL EMULSION Curing and Sealing Compound is ideal for use in preventing the spalling and scaling of concrete surfaces. Use on bridge decks, parking garage decks, ramps or any concrete surface exposed to water, salts or other destructive substances. LIN-SEAL EMULSION increases the durability of concrete to prolong its life.

Application
SURFACE PREPARATION: Surfaces to be sealed must be clean and dry. Remove all dirt, oil, grease, curing compounds and other substances that would prevent the proper penetration of the sealer.

APPLICATION: Apply only in a temperature range of 40ºF to 95ºF (4ºC to 35ºC). Apply with a hand or powered sprayer. Broom off puddles or excess liquid. Old concrete should be treated annually.

COVERAGE: Apply at a rate of approximately 300 ft.²/gal. (7.36m²/L). A second application at approximately 600 ft.²/gal. (14.7m²/L) is recommended for increased protection and spall prevention.

CLEAN-UP: Use soap and water to clean tools and equipment. Materials soaked with linseed oil (rags, absorbants, etc.) may spontaneously catch fire if improperly discarded. Immediately after use, all materials coming in contact with this product should be placed in sealed, water-filled containers.
